2023-Defibrillator & Rotherham Hospice

Yorkshire 3 Peaks

On May 13th, 2023, the JDD Fitness team embarked on an exhilarating challenge: conquering the renowned Yorkshire 3 Peaks within a 12-hour timeframe. This ambitious endeavor took them through some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the Yorkshire Dales, commencing and concluding their journey in Horton-in-Ribblesdale.

The route encompassed three iconic peaks:

  • Pen-y-Ghent (694m)

  • Whernside (736m)

  • Ingleborough (723m)

Covering a total distance of 37km (24 miles) with an ascent of 1381m/4531ft, this trek demanded both physical endurance and mental resilience from the team.

In addition to their personal achievement, the team rallied together for a noble cause.

Through fundraising efforts, they were able to procure a life-saving defibrillator for the JDD Fitness Centre and raise £619 in support of Rotherham Hospice. This act of generosity not only enhances safety within their fitness community but also provides vital assistance to those in need.
